There are papers for Robert Jenney, Jacob Duche, William White, Benjamin Dorr, C. Ellis Stevens, and Louis Washburn. With the exception of William White and Benjamin Dorr, rectors' tenures are documented with one or two files housing correspondence and other miscellaneous materials (see individual records for details). Louis Washburn and subsequent Rectors' work are evidenced in the subject files of the 20th Century Collection and are not microfilmed.
William White is by far the best represented as the series houses dozens of manuscripts for his publications and sermons. Unfortunately, these materials are often not dated. As such it is difficult (if at all possible) to determine when sermons were delivered, unless noted specifically. Manuscripts are often annotated. Of note is the sermon delivered at the service held in honor of George Washington when he died.
There are also 372 manuscript sermons written and preached by Benjamin Dorr, which were incorporated into the series during the 2009 processing project. They are not part of the microfilmed collection but are available for research.
